Wiley Brooks Owner
Wiley Brooks became a licensed real estate agent specializing in property management in 1978 and has owned Wiley Brooks Company, Inc. since 1982. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and is a member and past president of the Alaska Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). In 1987, Wiley Brooks received the Certified Property Manager of the Year Award. He was a 20 year career officer in the USAF advancing to the grade of Lieutenant Colonel before retirement to enter business in 1977. He has a degree in Business Management from Mississippi State University.
Wiley is currently retired, but is an active real estate owner and investor who still serves as a consultant and advisor for the company.
Michael Taylor Managing Broker
Michael Taylor has been involved in the real estate industry for over 10 years with professional experience in residential construction and real estate investing. He purchased his first multi‐family property in 2008 and worked for 6 years as a carpenter and a non-traditional student supporting a family while he put himself through school. He earned an Associates Degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelors Degree in Finance with a Real Estate Emphasis from UAA. Michael interned with Wiley Brooks Company in 2014, and stayed on with the company handling all operations and accounting functions of a mixed portfolio of 14 different properties that included 4 Condo Associations, 50 residential units, and over 120,000 SF of commercial space.
Michael is now managing broker of the company and has spearheaded efforts to modernize operations and the move to a paperless cloud‐based system. He continues to further his education by being an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and has completed all of the educational requirements to earn his CPM designation.
